The Metabolism Journal
The Metabolism Journal is where we write about the science around FitSpresso: metabolism, coffee, morning habits and how to judge any weight-loss supplement. No hype, just what the research says and how to use it.

What we write about
Our product pages focus on FitSpresso itself: its ingredients, safety, price and our verdict. The Journal steps back to look at the bigger questions behind them. Does metabolism really slow down with age? How much does your morning coffee actually help? Do weight-loss supplements work at all, and how can you tell a good one from a bad one? What does a morning routine look like that you can keep up for years, not weeks?
These are the questions that decide whether any supplement, FitSpresso included, is worth your money. Understanding them makes you a much harder target for marketing, and a much better judge of your own progress.
How we choose topics
We write about the questions readers send us most often, and the claims we see repeated in supplement advertising. When a claim sounds too good to be true, such as a “coffee loophole” or a supplement that works “without diet or exercise”, we look at the research behind it and explain what it does and does not show.
How we use evidence
We prioritise systematic reviews and meta-analyses of human trials, and summaries from bodies such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. Single small studies and animal research are useful for understanding mechanisms, but we are careful not to present them as proof. Every article lists its sources so you can check our reading.
